Emergency Backup Application of Mobile Energy Storage System
Distributed Energy Resources:
- EMS Function:
- Optimal scheduling
- Emergency Response and Disaster Relief (Mobile ESS tracking)
This site is equipped with both a stationary and a mobile lithium-titanate (LTO) battery energy storage system. The stationary system operates in coordination with the on-site PV system during regular conditions, executing peak shaving and valley filling strategies via the EMS to regulate load and enhance energy utilization efficiency. The mobile energy storage system, on the other hand, provides operational flexibility and can be dispatched as a backup power source to designated locations in the event of emergencies or unforeseen circumstances. By integrating GPS and Google Maps, the EMS can monitor the real-time location and battery status of the mobile unit, thereby enabling adaptive energy dispatch and enhanced emergency responsiveness.
