Demonstration of dyeing and finishing factory microgrid system
Distributed Energy Resources:
- EMS Function:
- Optimal scheduling
- Ancillary service-sReg
This site is a traditional textile dyeing and finishing factory, where load variations are highly dependent on production schedules. Due to the harsh factory environment, including high temperatures and heavy dust accumulation, communication and networking equipment frequently experience overheating or failures, which in turn affect the system’s stability and real-time performance. In addition, as this is a demonstration project, the energy storage system capacity is relatively low compared to the actual load. Nevertheless, through the intelligent scheduling strategy of the Energy Management System (EMS), the site can still effectively achieve peak shaving and electricity cost savings. Simulation results also verify the system’s feasibility and responsiveness in participating in sReg ancillary services.
